Overview: Alpine School District is looking to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is also a certified teacher. This is an ongoing contracted position for work during the school year (185 days). You will be responsible for assisting school personnel in creating effective interventions using sound behavior theory and applying evidenced-based behavioral strategies. Experience with determining target behaviors, identifying behavioral triggers, conducting functional analyses, and creating behavior intervention plans is required. Experience working with multiple grade levels is beneficial. Other important skills include: excellent interpersonal and communication skills; an ability to explain and model proposed interventions; effective data gathering methods to determine outcomes of interventions; excellent organizational skills; ability to express oneself in writing; and professional appearance.
