Details: The Thompson School District invites applications to the following position: Elementary Spanish Teacher 80% FTE Location: Coyote Ridge Elementary School Date Available: 02/13/2026 Summary: Instruct elementary-level students in coordination with a standards-based curriculum and within the framework of district and state content standards. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, and staff required. Working knowledge of the subject matter assigned, classroom management, best practices and strategies, student learning styles and needs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Human relations skills Knowledgeable about classroom practice in order to successfully facilitate the learning environment, manage time, communications, and record-keeping Ability to remain current in curricular areas and instructional practices Knowledgeable about student electronic database and grading software Knowledgeable about using technology to support instruction and enhance student learning. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language education or related field. Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsement (or licensure application in process with CDE).
