Details: Oklahoma City Public Schools invites applications for the following position: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Special Services School Year: 2025-2026 Position Summary: Position is responsible for providing speech/language services to meet the individual needs of students with oral communication and speech/language impairments. Position is responsible for screening and assessment; goal development; and planning/implementing appropriate speech and language treatment services to maximize student learning. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in education or a related field required. Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Education in the subjects listed below or subjects or Alternative Teaching Certification as approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education required. Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Pathologist Knowledge of speech/language needs of individuals from 3 - 21 years of age. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, demonstrate self-discipline and initiative, follow state and district guidelines.
