Details: Fort Bend Independent School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: CTE: Computer Science Teacher School Year: 2025-2026 Location: District Job Overview: The Teacher CTE Computer Science will plan and implement an instructional program and provide related educational services for students in assigned grade levels. The incumbent will manage student behavior, assess and evaluate student achievement, and modify/control instructional activities as required. Instructional delivery will provide students with real world experiences relevant to the industry today. Any teacher who will coach a UIL sport will also provide athletic services related to that athletic sport and the athletic program. Bachelor's degree in the appropriate field including course work in the subject or program to which assigned upon hire Master's degree preferred Valid Appropriate CTE Teaching Certification, issued by the Texas Education Agency upon hire Required Compliance Training Valid Driver's license with CDL Certification preferred if coaching a UIL sport Coaching experience preferred if coaching a UIL sport Demonstrated knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional specialty Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate technology equipment and software programs Proven ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives including the needs and abilities of students Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
