Details: St Vrain Valley School District is accepting applications for the following position(s): Assistant Principal School Year: 2026/2027 Location: Big Sky PK-8 Summary: Assist the Principal in the administration of the elementary school, including but not limited to, developing and enforcing policies related to student discipline and attendance; planning, organizing and implementing curriculum; hiring, supervising, evaluating and assisting with dismissing personnel; monitoring and enforcing building safety and security; assisting in planning and implementing student programs; and assisting in the development and implementation of the school improvement plan. Education & Experience: ● Master’s degree plus additional coursework required to obtain a Colorado Type D Certificate/Principal/Administrator’s License. ● Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the secondary level. Licenses, Certificates & Registrations: ● Criminal background check required for hire. ● Colorado Type D Certificate/Principal/Administrator’s License.
