Details: Hillsborough County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Reading Teacher Location: Young Middle Magnet School Position Summary: The Secondary Teacher (grades 6-12) is responsible for the instruction of designated content area(s)/course(s) in a classroom setting within a secondary school. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: A Florida Professional Educator Certificate is preferred. Eligibility for a Florida Temporary Certificate is required. Language Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets all kinds of documents. Responds to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or community. Writes speeches and effectively presents to managers, the public, and school board. Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
